When Rombourne Business Centres needed to provide a flexible reliable infrastructure to connect their sites across Bristol, they turned to us. HNS designed, installed and now manage this wide area network providing continuous monitoring and support. The network has been in place for over 4 years and has been subject to continual improvement and expansion, now including sites in South Wales. HNS have delivered exceptional performance and reliability through the use of our own redundant network, diverse carriers to each Centre. Recently secure, easy to use wireless access has been added to each centre for "walk in access".

CNR Limited
CN Resources have used HNS to co-locate servers for high profile projects for a number of years. When they began to consider consolidating office servers and hosting them off site they turned to HNS. HNS Planned and implemented a consolidation exercise and rolled out a Cisco VPN to allow users to connect securely to company resources. The migraton was performed with zero downtime and the system continues to operate, monitored on a 24x7 basis by our engineers. All data is backed up to one of our off site data stores and the system now enjoys UPS & Generator protection and a direct connection to the HNS backbone.

ESME Grant Scheme
To reduce the massive administration overhead of the ESME2 grant scheme, the DTI needed to computerise the application process. HNS designed and produced and a Web based system to manage the application process. The volume of paper used was halved and the number of telephone enquiries reduced to virtually none, allowing applications to be processed with much greater speed and accuracy.
